With Flair and in Style – ChelPipe Group Returned from the International Exhibition Tube 2018 with Great Success
The world’s largest pipe and tube exhibition Tube 2018 took place at the end of April in the German city of Düsseldorf.
The exhibition area exceeding 52,000 m2 housed the products of manufacturers from 24 countries, including Germany, Italy, Turkey, Spain, France, China, India, South Korea and, of course, Russia. The exhibition was attended by employees from more than 1,200 companies from 57 countries of the world.
New equipment from the pipe and tube production, instrumentation and adjustment equipment, operating supplies were presented at Tube 2018. Special attention was paid to the technologies for the automobile industry and the oil and gas sector.
“Tube is the world’s largest pipe and tube exhibition that you cannot miss if you want to see the technologies of the future that are about to become the technologies of the present very soon”, say the exhibition’s organizers, “Here you can familiarize yourself with the novelties of the pipe and tube production: from material to end product”.
Tube’s peculiarity lies in the fact that one exhibition complex simultaneously hosts another important international event – the cable and wire exhibition Wire 2018. Tube 2018 and Wire 2018 are dubbed the Düsseldorf Duet. They unite companies and experts from adjacent areas, thus creating one uniform exhibition space. Here you can see the general development trends of the global industry for the upcoming years.
Tube and Wire are held biennially, and it is therefore of crucial importance to participate in them. 69,500 experts from various countries attended the exhibitions in 2016, whereas a new record of attendance was set in 2018 – 71,500 thousand experts from 134 countries across the world visited the Düsseldorf Duet. And the aggregate exhibition area of Tube and Wire was expanded to the record-breaking 117,000 m2.
It is telling that not only the quantity of participants of the two exhibitions is growing, but so is the quality. In 2016, 60% of the participants of Tube and Wire were senior officials who are responsible for making specific decisions. In 2018, this figure reached 70%. The Düsseldorf Duet therefore confirms its status of a venue where mutually beneficial transactions are concluded.
According to the organizers’ data, every second participant of Tube and Wire agreed on specific investment intentions with its partners, while 55% of the exhibitions’ participants found new suppliers.
It is worthy of note that Tube and Wire has no business program. The events’ organizers decided to put emphasis upon the exhibitions themselves.
ChelPipe Group, one of the leading industrial groups of the Russian metallurgical complex, represented Russia at Tube 2018. The company is striving to strengthen its leading positions in Russia and expand its presence in foreign markets by fortifying the existing business connections and entering into new agreements with partners from around the globe.
ChelPipe Group has vast experience in exhibition activities and for this reason it can surprise its partners from every corner of the globe. The white metallurgists presented an interactive video board with a catalogue of the company’s products at Tube 2018. This multimedia novelty allowed more than 500 visitors of the company’s stand to get acquainted with all ChelPipe’s new releases. Guests from all over the world could particularly examine the characteristics of those models they were interested in.
The stand’s guests experienced genuine pleasure in visiting Russia. With the help of VR-glasses, they saw ChelPipe’s innovative facilities which are not only high tech, but beautiful as well. ChelPipe’s members are currently working on turning preliminary agreements entered into with partners at Tube 2018 into specific ones.
