PNTZ’s Environment Management System was Audited in Accordance with ISO 14001:2015
Pervouralsk Pipe Plant (PNTZ, part of ChelPipe), affirmed that its environment management system is in compliance with the international standard ISO 14001:2015. The verification was performed by the international certification body TÜV Rheinland.
Following the audit, PNTZ’s environment management system was acknowledged to be in compliance with the highest standards; it was also verified that the enterprise successfully implemented the new requirements.
“The production certification in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001:2015 is a mandatory condition for supplying products to countries of the far abroad. As part of the audit, one assessed compliance with the requirements to pipe and steel production and with the environmental laws and regulations. Following the results, the enterprise affirmed its efficiency in terms of solving environmental safety issues”, commented Alexey Dronov, Managing Director of PNTZ.
According to the new version of the standard ISO 14001:2015, the environment management system is integrated into the main business processes of ChelPipe Group. The enterprise also assumes reliability for compliance with the requirements of the environmental laws on the part of contracting organizations working in its territory.
PNTZ received the first certificate of compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001 in 2002. The enterprise has a number of licenses in the field of waste management and water and air resources monitoring.
